Structured is looking for a part-time/contract Paid Media Video Editor and Static Designer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in growth marketing (DR video creation and UGC content) as well as the creative vision and knowledge to use video strategically as a driver of results for our clients. 

What you'll do:

  • Edit video content provided by our clients or the Structured team specifically for social channels to help achieve ambitious sales goals for our clients' business. 
  • Execute and apply finishing and delivery skills to each edit, including color correction, sound design, sound mixing/EQ, graphics, and multi-format/channel delivery. 
  • Take creative liberties with creative briefs to ensure thumb-stopping creative is being produced. 
  • Thoroughly review completed work for technical and quality errors and ensure that all outputs are aligned with specified brand and legal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with peers across the broader team to share insights and inspiration.
  • Create new ads and deliver completed edits and revisions by established deadlines.
  • Follow internal post-production naming and organizational guidelines.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Must work US daytime hours
  • Post-production experience for digital platforms / paid social ads (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Strong ability to read a creative brief or see an example ad and grasp the intended vision  
  • Extensive knowledge of editing in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects (and capcut experience is a plus)
  • Experience with Motion graphics (very important)
  • Ability to work quickly; speedy and high quality work is crucial for this role
  • Familiar with ad layouts like: 3 Reasons Why, Customer Testimonials, Founder videos, UGC Mashups and more
  • Experience creating ads for product launches or weekly color/print drops. 
  • Proficiency using project management tools for creative tasks like Asana, Monday, ClickUp (ClickUp experience is a plus)
  • The ability to take raw footage and independently develop compelling stories and creatives with minimal direction, ensuring the final product aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals
  • Solid understanding of audio mixing pertaining specifically to video
  • Strong understanding of video editing trends and the ability to apply these trends in the creation of content that drives engagement and sales 
  • Proven ability to take raw footage and develop compelling stories and creatives with minimal direction, ensuring alignment with brand and marketing objectives
  • Proficiency in graphic design and the creation of static assets, complementing video content to create cohesive visual marketing materials
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills in English (both written and verbal).
